What's next

So, this is what I've been up to lately.
Kind of got a really colorful series going on that
I'm pretty happy with. I'm working on more
and having a lot of fun with them.

Check 'em out and let me know what you think!

Star fish kitty

This one is from a dream I had where my cat went underwater to go fishing.
In the dream he didn't wear goggles though, but he did have flippers.
Oil on canvas, 2007.

Painting 3

I hope you like this third one. I do. I played with a lot of new things in it
and I was pretty happy with the way it turned out. While you are viewing it,
don't forget when your eyes pass go, they collect $200. But not from me.
Oil on canvas, 2007.

Painting 2

The second of the new series. I think I'm a lot happier with this one.
Seems like things came together a little easier and I figured out a lot
of the logistics of working so many small sections with so much wet paint.
Oil on canvas, 2007.

Living girl, dead monkey

This little painting was started a long time ago, but finally finished recently.
It was donated to the Heartland Alliance's Art for Aids event in Chicago. I really
hated this piece for a long time, but now I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
I just wasn't creepy enough during the process!
Oil on canvas, 2007.

Painting 1

This is the first painting of the new series. There's still a couple of spots
that need to be touched up, but overall I'm really happy with it. It was a lot of
fun to do and I'm looking forward to doing more!
Oil on canvas, 2006.

About me

I have been frequently said to be the most prolific artist of the 21st century on my entire block. My passion for art began in my early years growing up in DeWitt Iowa. I majored in Illustration at the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) in Columbus, Ohio. I remained in Columbus for several years working for the man in several capacities all utilizing my graphic design and fine art skills. I currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia with my cat and several stuffed animals who regularly attend my afternoon tea parties. My favorite things to read are chapter books about Marxist garden gnomes.

I also love reading compliments.
