Buffalo eating Popsicle started

I just really wanted to do a painting with a buffalo in it for some reason. I think we were talking about the sentence “Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.” at work or something. Anyway, I got started on this one here. I kind of like where it’s going so far. Looks like it’ll be fun to paint. This is just a wash of burnt umber to get the lights and darks right before I start adding color.
