A Popsicle and a Really Green Shirt.

I got a lot of painting done this weekend. I started working on the boy’s face. It’s not finished. I just ended up with so much paint on it that I’ll have to let it sit for a while. It’s a good start though and will give me a good base to start with.

I think the skin tones are looking very monochromatic though, so I need to fix that. I also worked on the shirt and the popsicle quite bit and think I’ve off to a great start with those. I think the shirt is doing a good job of popping some color as well as describing the light in the environment. The popsicle is only the first coat and will get better when I can get back in there and add shadows and highlights and stuff. This one is coming together pretty quick!
