Painting: Kearny 1

This painting was done in secret as a gift from a wife to her husband as an anniversary gift. The photo was from a fond memory they had of a trip they had taken together in college. When I agreed to do it I was a little nervous, but then when I received the photo I was extremely thrilled. It was such a great shot of such a special moment and the tenderness in it was beautiful. I like to think I captured that feeling in this painting and it is one of my favorites.
