GAPA is the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and each year they produce a wonderful continuing education conference that takes place at great locations. This year, their summer conference is planning to be in Sandestin, Florida so when I designed the postcard and brochure for the conference the focus was on a beach vibe pulling in colors and photography that celebrated the feelings of a beach getaway. We designed and sent an oversized postcard initially to pique interest and then followed it up with the big, twelve-page conference brochure that gives guests all of the details about the location, the speakers at the conference, the daily schedules and so on. The challenge with conference design is always striking the balance of a lot of information being presented in a clear and organized manner while still keeping the overall feeling very exciting and engaging.
