Out Front Theatre Company (www.outfronttheatre.com) was created to tell stories of the LGBTQIA experience and community, through theatre and the performing arts, to the greater Atlanta area. After two seasons of shows they contacted me to help guide and design standards and bring their brand to the next level with a comprehensive look and feel that could be shared throughout all of their media and community communications. I was thrilled to start working with Out Front Theatre because of their amazing mission and their brand was already off to a great start. We started with their logo, which was already established and only needed some minor tweaking. As you can see below, we tightened up some of the typography, fixed some alignment issues and removed the gradient making a stronger and bolder mark to represent the company. The logo, very smartly, was originally created to be shown in all the different colors of the rainbow so we also set a specific color to use and created our own rainbow palette as you can see on the left above. Of course, after that we created letterhead, envelopes and business cards as well as sample brochures, print ads and a big Step and Repeat.
