The Puente Survey, or “Puente para la Gente,” is a community survey initiative created by GALEO, GALEO Impact Fund, the Latinx Alliance, and other organizations. The survey aims to collect information about the growing hispanic community in Georgia and help inform the state legislature with the information it gains. The end goal is to create a bridge between the lawmakers and the people. The team at GALEO contacted me to help design a logo that could be used to promote and communicate the survey. We needed something that would be easy-to-read, bold, friendly and memorable. We also wanted to communicate or reference a bridge visually to help reinforce the goal of the survey. Once we created the main logo we also developed a “reversed” version to go on dark color backgrounds, a solid color version and an icon with just the initials. Once completed, this logo was used by the organizations throughout all media. Learn more about the Puente Survey at: puentesurvey.com
