It was time to get spicy with this new wine tasting book by Veranda and Vine! I designed this book, “Some Like It Hot!” — written and published by Terrye Schaetzel, to celebrate the flavors and experiences explored in this guide to hosting your own wine tasting with spicy foods. Of course, we have a standard visual identity that we established in our previous books, but the subject matter for this one really let us play within that “sandbox.” We went a little bolder and darker with some of the colors and used flashed of full chroma reds and yellows that we really used sparingly, if at all, in the previous books. These books are such a treat to design and this one was no exception. As an added bonus, I was introduced to some new wines that are amazing!
