The Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP) (www.raponline.org) partnered with me to design a three-page document built around clear, engaging infographics that explain the rapid growth of electric vehicles in the European Union. The goal of this project was to translate complex data and policy information into visuals that are easy to understand, approachable, and engaging for a wide audience.
The infographics follow the theme “Out of the Sandbox,” which guided both the visual language and the structure of the document. The final page features a large sandbox graphic used to pull together the biggest takeaways and summarize the key ideas, giving readers a quick visual recap of the most important points. The first page introduces four major topics using creatively designed icons, setting the stage for the deeper content that follows.
Those same icons reappear throughout the document, creating consistency and helping readers quickly identify each topic as it’s explored in more detail. Each section also includes links to online resources, encouraging readers to continue learning beyond the printed page. By using thoughtful infographics and a cohesive visual system, this project makes complex information more accessible while reinforcing RAP’s research and insights in a clear, engaging way.
