I was so excited to work on this musical poster design project as I have been designing for the Atlanta Lyric Theatre since 2009 and this was the first chance I got to design the posters for each of the five shows they will be producing next season. The Lyric was ready for an image upgrade and so we brought all of the posters into the same format, giving them a consistent look and feel. This new look was focused mainly around vignette illustrations of objects that represent each show and capture the feeling and/or storyline at a quick glance. Having all five posters in the same format gives the visual impression that they are all a part of the same family and make them instantly recognizable as being from The Lyric.
