I’ve been working with Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAA) for nearly five years on their yearly conference brochure and design support. This past year, the GAA leadership approved an initiative to redesign their association website and I was selected as the web designer / web developer. Working with their leadership and support team, we created a new site map that would reorganize the site to be more focused on ease of use and the membership experience. The new site map was used then to guide the new design which brought larger and more engaging photography as well as smart uses of pops of color. White space and typography were also carefully controlled to keep the website easy to read and engaging, especially when a lot of information is presented. The new site was launched recently, just in time to start promoting their next upcoming conference early next year.
