Klem Group (klemgroup.com) is a high-end representative for exclusive brands who offer interior and exterior furniture and fixtures for hospitality and commercial projects. The time had come for them to freshen up their brand and that started with designing a fresh new logo. What we set out to achieve was to create something that was very new and different from the existing logo and create a mark that showcased some of the brand’s core traits: clean, modern, strong, professional. The new mark that was created was a lock up of the firm’s initials, “KG,” which could be used independently as an icon or with the text lock up of the full name. We decided to use a font that was more modern looking while still not being overly stylized so that it didn’t look dated too quickly. Additionally, a pop of bold color was added to tease a bit of the brand’s personality and give the logo a slight sense of whimsy. This bold color is intended to evolve over time and can be updated periodically as colors and trends change quickly through their industry allowing Klem Group to always be represented by a logo that shows great insight into color and style. Once the logo was created, we applied it then to their various communication materials such as: email signatures, business cards and a rack card.
