Vodcast Intro Video
LexisNexis Risk Solutions is one of the leading names in data analytics and technology for the insurance industry, so when the opportunity came to create the video intro for their vodcast series Insurance in Sight, it was a project worth getting right. The intro needed to capture the essence of what the show is all about: the intersection of the insurance industry and the cutting-edge technology that is transforming it.
A couple of important credits upfront: this project was completed in partnership with Dunlop Productions (dunlopproductions.com), and the video editing craft that brought the creative concept to life belongs to Scott Hunt. His work on the edit is what makes this piece move the way it does, and he deserves full credit for that.
The Concept
The goal for the intro was to create something that feels immediately polished and professional, the kind of opening that signals to the viewer within the first few seconds that this is a show worth watching. The piece weaves together dynamic clips and LexisNexis brand imagery to tell a visual story about the marriage of insurance expertise and modern technology: data, analytics, innovation, and the forward momentum that defines where the industry is headed.
The pacing and visual energy of the intro are designed to engage without overwhelming, giving the show a confident, contemporary feel that aligns with LexisNexis’s position as a technology leader in the space.
Built for Flexibility
One of the most practical and important aspects of this project was designing the intro to be genuinely reusable across every episode of the series. Because Insurance in Sight features rotating hosts, the intro was built with clearly defined placeholders for host headshots, names, and titles, making it simple to swap in new information with each episode without requiring a full redesign or re-edit.
That kind of thoughtful, production-friendly design is what separates a one-time deliverable from a true creative asset. The LexisNexis team can keep the intro fresh and personalized for each episode while maintaining complete visual consistency across the series.
It’s a satisfying kind of project, one where good design and good production craft come together to create something that works hard every single episode. Thanks to the team at Dunlop Productions for the partnership, and to Scott Hunt for bringing the edit to life.
