When Families First approached me to lead the logo design for their brand-new Parenting Time program, the goal was clear: create something that felt cohesive, iconic, and instantly recognizable. The new logo needed to work seamlessly alongside their existing brand identity, as well as the logo and visual assets I had previously developed for their Partners in Parenting course.
The logo design process began with a focus on concept exploration. Families First wanted the mark to reflect the warmth of family while featuring unique iconography that could stand on its own. After working through many concepts and collaborating closely with the Families First team, we landed on the direction that best captured their vision.
From there, the logo design work expanded into a full suite of derivative versions to cover a range of real-world use cases, including a version optimized for dark backgrounds and a clean, single-color variant for flexible application across print and digital materials.
The final logo design strikes a balance between bold and approachable, easy to read at any size and perfectly at home within the broader Families First brand family.
