Atlanta Pride Website Redesign

Atlanta Pride

Website Redesign

After a ten year hiatus, I was thrilled to work with Atlanta Pride (atlantapride.org) once again! They needed a website design that was more user-friendly, mobile-optimized, accessible, and easy to maintain. The new site also had to reflect their diverse community while staying fast and efficient.

I worked closely with Atlanta Pride’s leadership to create a plan that fit their busy calendar. We navigated staff and volunteer workloads, along with major events like the annual Pride festival. Together, we outlined key features for the website design, including an events calendar, galleries, and Spanish translation.

The site launched quietly during a low-traffic period, allowing us to test functionality and track user behavior. After fine-tuning, we rolled out a larger announcement. The launch also included staff training, ensuring they had full control of the platform as a tool for communication and community building.

I’m excited to continue working with Atlanta Pride and supporting their mission to create a vibrant, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ people in the Southeast!
