As part of its mission to inspire greater civic engagement within Georgia’s Latino population, GALEO (www.galeo.org) launched the “Vamos Pa’Fuera” initiative—Spanish for “Let’s Go Outside.” This program encourages deeper connections between Latino communities and the natural environment through activities like hikes, nature walks, and roadside cleanups.
To celebrate Earth Day and foster unity during these events, GALEO wanted a custom TShirt illustration that participants could wear with pride. The design we created is centered around a bold circular illustration that highlights the diverse landscapes found across Georgia—mountains, forests, plains, rivers, and beaches—all woven together in a harmonious visual.
Encircling the illustration are the words “Vamos Pa’Fuera,” stylized with indigenous patterns embedded into each letterform. This detail adds cultural richness and reinforces the initiative’s emphasis on heritage, nature, and community.
The final TShirt illustration is vibrant, meaningful, and unifying—perfectly capturing the spirit of GALEO’s work and giving participants a wearable emblem of pride and purpose.
